This Quotation Estimate is prepared in response to the formal request received from Bharat Maritime Logistics & Shipping Co. Ltd. for the engagement of a qualified Marine Engineer to provide comprehensive technical oversight, maintenance, and operational support for the client's fleet of cargo vessels operating out of the port facilities in India New Delhi and its associated inland waterway terminals along the Yamuna River corridor. The Marine Engineer shall be responsible for the day-to-day management of all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems aboard the vessels, ensuring full compliance with the Indian Merchant Shipping Act, 1958, and the regulations issued by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), Government of India.

The services outlined in this Quotation Estimate are specifically tailored for operations within the India New Delhi jurisdiction, including the National Inland Waterway Authority (NIWA) terminals, the Okhla industrial dock, and the Yamuna riverine cargo handling facilities. The Marine Engineer will report directly to the client's Chief Operations Officer and will coordinate with the local port authority, the Central Water Commission, and the Pollution Control Board of Delhi as required.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and availability of the Marine Engineer shall be subject to re-confirmation.
Payment terms: 40% advance upon acceptance of this quotation, 40% upon completion of the sixth month of service delivery, and the remaining 20% upon successful completion of the full twelve-month engagement period.
The Marine Engineer shall be provided with a dedicated workspace, access to all vessel engineering compartments, and necessary safety equipment (PPE) at the client's facility in India New Delhi.
Any additional work, emergency repairs, or scope changes beyond the items listed in this Quotation Estimate shall be billed separately at the standard hourly rate of ₹ 4,500 per hour for the Marine Engineer's professional time, plus material costs at actuals.
The client shall bear all travel, accommodation, and per-diem expenses if the Marine Engineer is required to travel to port locations outside the immediate New Delhi metropolitan area.
All work performed by the Marine Engineer shall adhere to the International Safety Management (ISM) Code, the Indian Merchant Shipping Rules, and the environmental regulations enforced by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC).
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal Service Agreement is executed by both parties. The terms herein are indicative and subject to final negotiation.
Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration being New Delhi, India.
The Marine Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than ₹ 5 Crores for the duration of the contract, with the client named as an additional insured party.

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and confirms that the scope, rates, and terms pertaining to the Marine Engineer services in India New Delhi are acceptable. This acceptance shall serve as the basis for the preparation of the definitive Service Agreement.
