The Marine Engineer to be deployed under this Quotation Estimate shall hold a valid Class 1 Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency (CEC) issued under the STCW Convention, with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in main propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, and marine electrical installations. The Marine Engineer will be based at our operational office in Italy Milan and will be available for on-site visits to client vessels, dry docks, and maintenance workshops throughout the Lombardy region.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: detailed condition surveys of marine diesel engines and gas turbines; compliance audits against Italian Maritime Authority (Capitaneria di Porto) regulations; preparation of technical reports for class society inspections (RINA, Lloyd's Register); troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatic systems; and advisory support for the modernisation of onboard automation and monitoring systems. The remaining balance shall be invoiced in monthly instalments corresponding to the hours and services rendered by the Marine Engineer during each calendar month. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 231/2002.

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and availability of the Marine Engineer are subject to revision.
• All services will be performed in strict compliance with Italian maritime law, the regulations of the Capitaneria di Porto di Milano, and the applicable STCW and SOLAS conventions.
• The Marine Engineer shall maintain full professional indemnity insurance (minimum coverage € 2,000,000) and public liability insurance throughout the duration of the engagement in Italy Milan.
