- This Quotation Estimate constitutes a formal commercial proposal and does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties. The engagement of the Marine Engineer shall be governed by a separate Service Agreement to be executed prior to the commencement of any work in Italy Rome.
- All rates quoted are fixed for the duration of the project. Any scope deviation exceeding 10% of the original work description will require a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued in writing by the contractor.
- Payment terms: 30% advance upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of the design review and site survey phases, and 30% upon final delivery of all technical documentation and sign-off by the Italian maritime authorities in Rome.
- The Marine Engineer shall maintain full professional indemnity insurance (minimum coverage of €5,000,000) and public liability insurance valid throughout the territory of Italy, with Rome as the primary operational base.
- All work products, reports, and technical drawings produced under this engagement shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full payment. The Marine Engineer retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios subject to a 12-month confidentiality period.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to severe Mediterranean weather conditions affecting the Rome coastline, government-mandated port closures, or regulatory changes enacted by the Italian Ministry of Transport, shall suspend the project timeline without penalty to either party.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent Service Agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Rome, Italy, in accordance with the rules of the Camera di Commercio di Roma. The applicable law shall be Italian law.
- The Marine Engineer shall comply with all applicable Italian health and safety regulations (D.Lgs. 81/2008) and environmental protection standards governing work in and around the Tiber River and the Tyrrhenian Sea near Rome.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorizes Adriatic Marine Engineering Solutions S.r.l. to proceed with the deployment of the Marine Engineer for the services described herein, to be carried out at the designated locations in Italy Rome and its surrounding maritime jurisdictions.
