3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate shall remain valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and availability of the Marine Engineer team may be subject to revision due to market conditions in the Japan Tokyo maritime sector.
3.2 Payment Terms: A deposit of 30% of the total Quotation Estimate amount is due upon acceptance. The remaining 70% shall be invoiced in monthly installments aligned with the service delivery schedule. All payments are to be made in Japanese Yen (JPY) via bank transfer to the account designated by Pacific Maritime Engineering Solutions Ltd.
3.3 Scope Limitations: This Quotation Estimate covers the Marine Engineer services explicitly listed in Section 2. Any additional work, emergency call-outs, or scope changes requested by the client in Japan Tokyo beyond the described parameters will be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued prior to commencement of such additional work.
3.4 Insurance & Liability: Pacific Maritime Engineering Solutions Ltd. maintains comprehensive professional liability insurance and marine operations coverage as required by Japanese law. The Marine Engineer personnel assigned to this project in Japan Tokyo shall carry valid certifications from the Japan Marine Engineers Association (JMEA) and hold Class 1 or Class 2 Marine Engineer licenses as appropriate to the task.
3.5 Working Hours & Location: Standard service hours are Monday through Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 Japan Standard Time (JST), at the designated Japan Tokyo sites. After-hours or weekend emergency Marine Engineer response will be billed at 1.5x the standard hourly rate as outlined in this Quotation Estimate.
3.6 Confidentiality: All technical data, vessel specifications, and operational information shared during the execution of this Quotation Estimate in Japan Tokyo shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent from Tokyo Bay Shipping & Logistics Co., Ltd.
3.7 Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Tokyo, Japan, under the rules of the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Marine Engineer services to be performed in Japan Tokyo. Upon acceptance, this document shall constitute a binding agreement between the parties for the services and rates described herein.
