This Quotation Estimate is prepared in response to the formal request submitted by the Caspian Port Authority for the engagement of a qualified Marine Engineer to oversee, maintain, and optimize the marine propulsion and auxiliary systems of the vessel fleet stationed at the Kazakhstan Almaty inland waterway terminal. - This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond the validity period will require re-confirmation of pricing and availability of the designated Marine Engineer.
- All services described herein shall be performed in strict accordance with the operational requirements of the Kazakhstan Almaty inland waterway terminal and in compliance with the Republic of Kazakhstan Maritime Code (2023 revision) and applicable international maritime regulations.
- The Marine Engineer assigned to this contract shall hold a minimum of a Class 1 Marine Engineering Officer certificate, a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in marine propulsion systems, and valid medical fitness certification recognized by the Kazakhstan Maritime Authority.
- Payment terms: 30% advance payment upon contract execution, followed by monthly invoicing in arrears within ten (10) business days of each calendar month. All payments shall be made in Kazakhstani Tenge (KZT) to the bank account specified in the contract annex.
- Travel, accommodation, and per diem expenses for the Marine Engineer stationed at the Kazakhstan Almaty site are included in the monthly rates stated above. No additional travel charges will be incurred for movements within the Almaty city limits.
- Any change in scope, extension of duration, or addition of vessels to the maintenance portfolio must be documented via a formal Change Order signed by both parties. Adjusted pricing will be reflected in a supplementary Quotation Estimate.
- Liability: Arctic Marine Engineering Solutions LLP shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than 50,000,000 KZT for the duration of the engagement. The client shall maintain marine hull and machinery insurance for all vessels under the Marine Engineer's supervision.
- Confidentiality: All technical drawings, operational data, and proprietary information pertaining to the Kazakhstan Almaty terminal operations shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent.
- Termination: Either party may terminate the agreement with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination.
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration at the International Arbitration Centre of the Almaty Stock Exchange.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms, pricing, and scope of work outlined in this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of a Marine Engineer at the Kazakhstan Almaty facility. This document, once countersigned, shall serve as the basis for the formal service agreement.
