3. Terms and Conditions

This Quotation Estimate is subject to the following terms and conditions, which form an integral part of the agreement upon acceptance:

  1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond this period is subject to re-confirmation of pricing by SEA-TECH MARINE ENGINEERING SDN. BHD.
  2. All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of standard working hours (Monday to Friday, 0800–1700 hrs). Overtime and weekend work will be charged at 1.5x and 2.0x the standard hourly rate of MYR 450.00 per hour respectively.
  3. The Marine Engineer shall comply with all applicable Malaysian maritime regulations, OSHA 1994 requirements, and the client's site-specific safety management system (SMS) while operating in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur and designated port areas.
  4. Payment terms: 40% advance payment upon signing of the work order; 40% upon completion of major overhaul works (Items 1.1–1.4); 20% upon successful handover and commissioning. Monthly retainer payments (Item 1.5) are due on the 5th of each subsequent month.
  5. All spare parts and materials supplied under this estimate carry a minimum twelve (12) month manufacturer's warranty from the date of installation.
  6. The Marine Engineer shall provide a detailed written report within five (5) working days following the completion of each service activity, including photographic evidence, test results, and recommended follow-up actions.
  7. Force majeure events, including but not limited to severe weather conditions affecting port operations in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur, shall entitle either party to a reasonable extension of the project timeline without penalty.
  8. Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through mediation in accordance with the rules of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
  9. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal Purchase Order or signed Service Agreement is executed by both parties.
4. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms, scope, and pricing outlined in this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of a Marine Engineer to perform the described services in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.
