- Day-to-day operation and maintenance of the main propulsion plant (MAN B&W 6S50MC-C engines), auxiliary generators, and all associated mechanical and electrical systems aboard the MV Tainui Star.
- Preparation and execution of planned maintenance schedules in compliance with the vessel's PMS (Planned Maintenance System) and the requirements of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code.

- Coordination with the Port of Auckland harbour master, MSA NZ inspectors, and classification society surveyors (Bureau Veritas) during all scheduled and unscheduled inspections.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing labour market conditions in New Zealand Auckland and any changes to MSA NZ fee schedules.
- Payment terms: 50% of the total Quotation Estimate value is due upon execution of the service agreement; the remaining 50% shall be invoiced monthly in arrears, with payment due within fourteen (14) days of invoice date.
- The Marine Engineer shall be subject to the employment provisions of the New Zealand Employment Relations Act 2000 and the Maritime Labour Convention 2006 as incorporated into New Zealand law. All statutory leave, sick pay, and holiday entitlements are included in the rates quoted above.
- Any additional services, emergency repairs, or extended port stays in New Zealand Auckland or elsewhere shall be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued by Pacific Maritime Engineering Ltd. prior to the commencement of such work.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include the cost of spare parts, consumables, or major capital works. These items will be quoted separately upon request.
- Both parties agree to resolve any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate through mediation in accordance with the New Zealand Disputes Resolution Act 2023, with the venue set in Auckland, New Zealand.
- All personal data processed in connection with this engagement shall comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate in full, authorising Pacific Maritime Engineering Ltd. to proceed with the recruitment, onboarding, and deployment of the Marine Engineer as described herein. This document, once countersigned, constitutes a binding service agreement for the engagement of marine engineering personnel in New Zealand Auckland and the waters under New Zealand jurisdiction.
