This Quotation Estimate has been prepared by Harbour Marine Engineering Solutions Ltd to provide Wellington Harbour Authority with a comprehensive and transparent breakdown of professional Marine Engineer services required for the annual maintenance, inspection, and repair programme of harbour infrastructure located within New Zealand Wellington. This document outlines all anticipated costs, scope of work, timelines, and terms associated with the engagement of our qualified Marine Engineer team. All pricing is quoted in New Zealand Dollars and includes applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the current rate of 15%.
Our Marine Engineer team will deliver the following services across all designated sites within the New Zealand Wellington harbour region. Each service has been scoped in accordance with Maritime New Zealand regulations, the New Zealand Building Code, and industry best practices for marine infrastructure maintenance.

The Marine Engineer services outlined in this Quotation Estimate are scheduled to commence on 1 August 2025 and are expected to be completed by 30 November 2025, subject to weather conditions in New Zealand Wellington and availability of harbour access. The 24/7 standby service (Item 05) will commence upon contract execution and continue for the full 12-month period. A detailed Gantt chart and milestone schedule will be provided within 10 business days of contract signing.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to material cost fluctuations or changes in exchange rates.
- All Marine Engineer personnel engaged under this contract hold valid New Zealand engineering registrations and appropriate marine industry certifications. Copies of qualifications will be provided upon request.
- Payment terms: 50% deposit upon contract execution, 40% upon completion of all inspection and remediation works, and 10% upon final acceptance and delivery of all reports. The 24/7 standby fee (Item 05) will be invoiced monthly in arrears.
- All work will be performed in strict compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (New Zealand), Maritime New Zealand regulations, and the Wellington City Council bylaws governing harbour operations.
- Harbour Marine Engineering Solutions Ltd carries a minimum of $20,000,000 in public liability insurance and $5,000,000 in professional indemnity insurance, with certificates available upon request.
- Any variations to the scope of work must be agreed in writing by both parties prior to commencement. Additional Marine Engineer hours beyond the quoted scope will be billed at a rate of $185.00 per hour plus applicable GST.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include the cost of replacement parts, materials, or third-party specialist services not explicitly listed above. Such items will be quoted separately upon identification.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved in accordance with the New Zealand Disputes Tribunal Act 2022, with jurisdiction in the Wellington District Court.
- All intellectual property, reports, and documentation produced by the Marine Engineer team under this contract shall become the property of Wellington Harbour Authority upon full payment.
