The Marine Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in marine plant engineering, naval architecture, and offshore support vessel operations. The Marine Engineer shall hold a valid Class 1 Marine Engineer's Certificate of Competency (MECO) issued by the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and shall be fully registered with the Nigerian Institute of Marine Engineers (NIME).
The scope of duties for the Marine Engineer in Nigeria Abuja shall include, but not be limited to: oversight of marine asset maintenance programmes; technical advisory on vessel procurement and commissioning; design review of inland waterway infrastructure along the Benue and Niger River corridors; preparation of technical reports for the Federal Ministry of Transport; supervision of marine engineering workshops; and provision of emergency technical response for any marine infrastructure failure within the Abuja metropolitan and FCT jurisdiction.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in accordance with the following schedule: a mobilization advance of twenty-five percent (25%) upon contract signing; monthly progress payments of seven percent (7%) invoiced on the 25th of each month; and a final demobilization payment of the remaining balance upon satisfactory completion of the twelve-month engagement. All payments shall be remitted via bank transfer to the account of Deepwater Marine Engineering & Technical Services Ltd. at Zenith Bank Plc, Abuja Branch, Account No. 1024587301.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision due to exchange rate fluctuations and inflationary adjustments in Nigeria Abuja.
- The Marine Engineer shall be subject to the employment and labour laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) and Pension Reform Act provisions.
- Deepwater Marine Engineering & Technical Services Ltd. reserves the right to substitute the assigned Marine Engineer with a candidate of equivalent or superior qualification, subject to prior written approval by the client.
- Any variation in scope of work beyond the parameters defined in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a supplementary quotation and mutual written agreement.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (Cap A18, LFN 2004), with the seat of arbitration in Abuja, FCT, Nigeria.
- The Marine Engineer shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all technical data, operational procedures, and proprietary information encountered during the course of duty in Nigeria Abuja.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and cost structure set forth herein for the engagement of a Marine Engineer in Nigeria Abuja.
