1. Scope of Work – Marine Engineer Services in Peru Lima

This Quotation Estimate is issued by Pacific Maritime Engineering S.A.C. to provide comprehensive Marine Engineer professional services for the client's fleet operations based in Peru Lima, specifically covering the Port of Callao, the Callao Free Port Zone, and associated maritime infrastructure within the Lima metropolitan area. The scope encompasses the full lifecycle of marine engineering support, including but not limited to: main engine overhauls, auxiliary machinery maintenance, propulsion system diagnostics, HVAC and refrigeration unit servicing for cargo vessels, ballast water treatment system compliance inspections, and statutory survey support in accordance with the Peruvian Maritime Authority (Marina de Guerra del Perú) and International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations.

The Marine Engineer team assigned to this project will consist of a Lead Marine Engineer (15+ years experience, Class 1 certification), two Senior Marine Engineers (10+ years, Class 2 certification), and four certified Marine Engineering Technicians. All personnel will be based at the client's facility in the Callao port district, Peru Lima, and will operate on a 24/7 rotational schedule to ensure continuous coverage of the client's vessel fleet.

3. Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate
  • Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing for Marine Engineer services in Peru Lima may be subject to revision based on market conditions, exchange rate fluctuations, or regulatory changes.
  • Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in monthly installments within fifteen (15) business days of invoice issuance. A 2% late payment penalty will apply per week of delay. The client may opt for quarterly prepayment with a 3% discount on the total Quotation Estimate amount.
  • Commencement: Marine Engineer deployment in Peru Lima shall commence within ten (10) business days of written acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and execution of the definitive service contract.
  • Working Hours & Overtime: Standard working hours are 08:00–17:00, Monday through Saturday, in accordance with Peruvian labor legislation (Ley General del Trabajo, D.S. 003-97-TR). Overtime for the Marine Engineer team will be compensated at 1.5x the standard hourly rate, and work on Sundays or public holidays at 2x.
  • Insurance & Liability: Pacific Maritime Engineering S.A.C. maintains comprehensive professional liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for all Marine Engineer personnel. The client is responsible for marine insurance of vessels and cargo.
  • Confidentiality: All technical data, vessel specifications, and operational information shared during the engagement of the Marine Engineer team shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent.
  • Termination: Either party may terminate the service agreement with sixty (60) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, a pro-rata charge for Marine Engineer services rendered up to the termination date will apply.
  • Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Lima, Peru, in accordance with the rules of the Lima Chamber of Commerce.
  • Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to port strikes, natural disasters affecting the Peru Lima coastline, or government-mandated port closures.
4. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for Marine Engineer services in Peru Lima and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined herein. This document constitutes a formal offer and does not create a binding obligation until a definitive service contract is executed by both parties.
