1. Scope of Work – Marine Engineer Services in Senegal DakarThis Quotation Estimate is prepared in response to the formal request submitted by Société Maritime du Sénégal for the provision of a qualified Marine Engineer to support ongoing vessel maintenance, hull integrity assessments, and propulsion system diagnostics at the Port of Dakar. - Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be revised to reflect changes in the Senegal Dakar labor market or currency fluctuations.
- Payment Terms: 40% advance payment upon contract signature; 30% upon completion of month six; 30% upon successful completion of the full twelve-month engagement. - Scope Limitations: This Quotation Estimate covers the services of one (1) senior Marine Engineer. Any additional personnel, specialized equipment rental, or out-of-scope repairs will be subject to a supplementary quotation.
- Regulatory Compliance: The Marine Engineer shall hold a valid Class 1 Marine Engineer Certificate issued by a recognized maritime authority and shall comply with all regulations of the Direction des Affaires Maritimes and the Port Autonome de Dakar.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or non-performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to port closures, government sanctions, or severe weather conditions affecting the Senegal Dakar coastline.
