The Marine Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall hold a valid Class 1 Marine Engineer's Certificate of Competency (MECO) issued under the STCW Convention, as recognized by the Spanish Maritime Administration (Dirección General de la Marina Mercante). The professional shall be fully authorized to perform all duties associated with the operation, maintenance, and repair of main and auxiliary machinery aboard vessels berthed or operating within the jurisdictional waters of Spain Barcelona, including the Port of Barcelona, Port de Tarragona, and the surrounding Mediterranean sector.

The Marine Engineer contracted pursuant to this Quotation Estimate shall deliver the following services on a full-time basis (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with on-call availability for emergency callouts):

• Day-to-day operation and monitoring of main engines, auxiliary generators, boilers, and all associated mechanical and electrical systems aboard the client's fleet vessels.
• Preparation and execution of planned maintenance schedules in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and the requirements of the relevant classification society (Bureau Veritas, Lloyd's Register, or DNV).
• Conduct of statutory and flag-state inspections, including annual, intermediate, and special surveys, ensuring full compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, and the MLC 2006 conventions as enforced in Spain Barcelona.

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all prices and availability are subject to revision.
• The Marine Engineer shall comply with all applicable Spanish labour legislation, including the Estatuto de los Trabajadores, and all maritime regulations enforced by the Dirección General de la Marina Mercante in Spain Barcelona.
• Either party may terminate the engagement with sixty (60) days' written notice. In the event of termination for cause, a notice period of fifteen (15) days shall apply.
