Terms & Conditions of this Quotation Estimate
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and availability of the Marine Engineer team are subject to reconfirmation.
- All Marine Engineer services shall be performed in strict compliance with the Merchant Shipping Act 1995, MCA Code of Practice, and the Canal & River Trust (CRT) regulations applicable to vessels operating in the United Kingdom Birmingham waterway network.
- Payment terms: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 40% upon completion of major mechanical works; 30% balance upon final sign-off and delivery of the MCA compliance documentation.
- All Marine Engineer personnel shall carry valid professional indemnity insurance (minimum £5,000,000) and public liability insurance (minimum £10,000,000) for the duration of the engagement in United Kingdom Birmingham.
- The client shall provide safe access to the vessel, adequate working space, and all necessary permits (including CRT navigation licences and environmental discharge permits) prior to the commencement of any Marine Engineer works.
- Any additional work or scope changes beyond the items listed in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a written variation order signed by both parties before execution.

- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until formally accepted in writing by the client and countersigned by Meridian Marine Engineering Solutions Ltd.
- Warranty: All Marine Engineer workmanship is guaranteed for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of final commissioning, covering defects in workmanship only (excluding normal wear and tear or misuse).
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of United Kingdom Birmingham.
