1. Purpose and Scope of This Quotation Estimate

This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by Caribbean Maritime Engineering Solutions, C.A. to provide a comprehensive cost breakdown for the engagement of a certified Marine Engineer to deliver specialized technical services at the port facilities and maritime infrastructure located in and around Venezuela Caracas and its associated coastal operations. All prices are exclusive of any additional services not explicitly listed in this Quotation Estimate. 3. Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate
  • Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, the Marine Engineer rates and availability may be subject to revision.
  • Payment Terms: 40% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 30% upon completion of the mid-project milestone (Line Items 01–04), and 30% upon final delivery and acceptance of all deliverables. Payment is due within fifteen (15) business days of invoice date.
  • Scope Changes: Any modification to the scope of the Marine Engineer services beyond what is described in this Quotation Estimate will require a written change order signed by both parties. Additional costs will be quoted separately.
  • Confidentiality: The Marine Engineer and all technical staff engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall treat all operational data, infrastructure drawings, and port security information as strictly confidential in accordance with Venezuelan commercial law.
  • Insurance and Liability: The Marine Engineer shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of USD 1,000,000 for the duration of services rendered in Venezuela Caracas. The client shall provide site-specific safety equipment and access permits.
  • Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed port closures, or civil unrest affecting operations in Venezuela Caracas.
  • Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Caracas under the rules of the Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce.
