This Quotation Estimate is issued by Pacific Northwest Masonry & Stonework Ltd. for comprehensive Mason services to be performed at the client's residential property located in Canada Vancouver. The Mason team assigned to this project will consist of a licensed master mason, two journeymen masons, and one mason's helper. - Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing for masonry materials and labour in Canada Vancouver may be subject to revision due to market fluctuations.
- Payment Schedule: A 30% deposit is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to secure the mason crew and reserve material orders. 40% is due upon completion of the retaining wall and chimney work. The remaining 30% is due upon final inspection and sign-off.
- Materials: All natural stone, brick, and masonry materials are sourced from approved suppliers within British Columbia. Substitutions of equivalent grade and appearance may be made if the specified material is unavailable, subject to written client approval.
- Weather Delays: Given the rainy climate of Canada Vancouver, masonry work involving mortar application may be suspended during periods of sustained rainfall exceeding 4 mm/hour. Such delays will be documented and added to the project timeline without additional cost to the client.
- Permits: The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary masonry and structural permits from the City of Vancouver. Permit fees are included in the total estimate.
- Warranty: All mason workmanship is guaranteed for a period of five (5) years from the date of final completion. Material warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers and are transferable to the client.
- Insurance: Pacific Northwest Masonry & Stonework Ltd. carries comprehensive general liability insurance of $5,000,000 and full WorkSafeBC coverage for all mason personnel operating in Canada Vancouver.
- Change Orders: Any modifications to the scope of masonry work beyond what is described in this Quotation Estimate must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties before additional work commences.
