Project Timeline

The estimated duration for completion of all Mason works described in this Quotation Estimate is approximately six (6) calendar weeks, commencing on 1 September 2025 and concluding by 25 October 2025, subject to weather conditions and material availability. The masonry team will operate Monday through Friday, 07:00 to 17:00, in compliance with France Lyon noise and construction regulations. Any delays caused by force majeure, heritage inspection hold-ups, or client-requested modifications will be communicated in writing and may result in an adjusted schedule.

Payment Terms

30% deposit (EUR 18,964.80) due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and prior to commencement of works.
40% progress payment (EUR 25,286.40) due upon completion of all façade masonry and structural brickwork (end of Week 3).
30% final payment (EUR 18,964.80) due upon final inspection, sign-off, and handover of the completed project.
All payments to be made by bank transfer to the company account. Late payments will incur interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as per French commercial law (Code de commerce, Article L441-10).

Terms and Conditions

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be revised to reflect changes in material costs, particularly for natural stone and lime mortar products.
All Mason workmanship is guaranteed for a period of ten (10) years on structural elements and five (5) years on decorative and finishing elements, in accordance with French decennial liability law (garantie décennale, Code des assurances, Articles L241-1 to L241-10).
The company holds full professional liability insurance (assurance responsabilité civile professionnelle) and decennial insurance valid throughout France, including the Lyon metropolitan area.
The client is responsible for obtaining all necessary building permits (permis de construire) and declarations of works (déclaration préalable de travaux) from the Mairie de Lyon prior to commencement. The Mason team will provide technical documentation to support these applications.
Any additional works not specified in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a separate written amendment and client approval before execution.
All materials used will comply with French and European building standards (NF/EN) and, where applicable, the specific heritage conservation guidelines of the Ville de Lyon.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until signed and countersigned by both parties. Upon signature, it becomes a legally binding agreement governed by French law.
