In accordance with standard practice for Mason works in France Paris, payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be structured as follows:
- 30% deposit (€13,471.20 TTC): Due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and prior to commencement of works. This deposit secures the booking of our Mason team and the ordering of natural stone materials.
- 40% progress payment (€17,961.60 TTC): Due upon completion of the main façade masonry installation and garden wall construction, subject to a joint inspection by the client and our supervising Mason.
- 30% final payment (€13,471.20 TTC): Due upon final handover, completion of all finishing works, and issuance of the final completion certificate.
- This Quotation Estimate is a firm offer for the Mason services described herein and is binding upon written acceptance by the client. It does not constitute a contract until both parties have signed and returned the acceptance copy.
- All Mason works will be carried out by Atelier Pierre & Chaux's in-house team of qualified Masons, stonemasons, and masonry technicians. No subcontracting will be undertaken without prior written consent from the client.
- The project duration is estimated at eight (8) working weeks from the date of commencement, subject to weather conditions and access availability in France Paris. Delays caused by force majeure or client-requested changes will be communicated in writing.
- All materials, including natural limestone, lime mortar, and ancillary products, will be sourced from approved suppliers in France Paris and the Île-de-France region. Material specifications are detailed in Appendix A (attached separately).
- Atelier Pierre & Chaux provides a five-year structural warranty on all Mason works and a two-year warranty on finishing and decorative elements, in compliance with French consumer protection law (Code de la Consommation, Articles L271-1 et seq.).
- The client is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, including the Déclaration Préalable de Travaux from the Mairie du 11e arrondissement in France Paris, prior to the start of any Mason works. Our firm will provide technical documentation to support the application.
- Any variation or additional work beyond the scope defined in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a supplementary written estimate approved by the client before execution.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting Mason works contract shall be resolved amicably or, failing that, submitted to the competent courts of France Paris (Tribunal de Commerce de Paris).
