- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, Mason reserves the right to revise pricing due to material cost fluctuations in the Japan Tokyo construction market.
- All work shall be performed in strict compliance with the Building Standards Act of Japan, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government construction regulations, and applicable Japan Tokyo municipal ordinances governing masonry and stonework in heritage zones.
- Mason shall provide a minimum five-year structural warranty on all masonry work and a two-year warranty on sealant and weatherproofing treatments. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to Mason headquarters in Tokyo.
- The project schedule assumes a duration of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of commencement. Delays caused by force majeure events, including typhoons common to Japan Tokyo, or client-directed changes shall extend the schedule accordingly.
- All materials specified in this Quotation Estimate shall be sourced from certified Japanese quarries. Substitutions require prior written approval from the client and the Japan Tokyo heritage preservation authority.
- Mason shall maintain comprehensive construction all-risk insurance and workers' compensation coverage throughout the project duration in accordance with Japanese labor law.
- Any changes to the scope of work must be documented through a formal Change Order signed by both parties. Mason will provide a revised Quotation Estimate for any such changes within five business days.
- Disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through mediation in Tokyo, Japan, in accordance with the rules of the Japan Construction Arbitration Association.
