1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be subject to revision due to fluctuations in material costs within the Kenya Nairobi construction market.
2. All masonry work shall be executed by our qualified Mason team, each member holding a minimum of five years of practical experience in structural and decorative masonry in Kenya Nairobi and the broader Kenyan construction industry.
3. Payment terms: 30% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of ground floor masonry, and 30% upon final completion and handover of all masonry works.
4. The estimated project duration for all masonry works is twelve (12) working weeks, subject to weather conditions and availability of materials in the Kenya Nairobi supply chain.
5. All materials (cement, blocks, sand, aggregate, reinforcement) shall be sourced from approved suppliers in Kenya Nairobi and shall meet the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) specifications.
6. A twelve-month (12-month) workmanship warranty is provided on all masonry elements from the date of final completion. This warranty covers structural defects in the mason work but excludes damage caused by natural disasters, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.
7. Any variations or additional masonry work beyond the scope outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and additional cost assessment.
8. The client is responsible for obtaining all necessary building permits and approvals from the Nairobi City County Government and the Kenya Building and Construction Authority prior to the commencement of masonry work.
9. All prices are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate of 16% as applicable in Kenya Nairobi.
10. Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent contract shall be resolved through mediation in Kenya Nairobi in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
