- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to material cost fluctuations in the New Zealand Wellington market.
- A deposit of 30% of the total contract value (NZD 12,813.30) is required to secure the start date. The remaining balance shall be invoiced in two equal instalments: 50% upon completion of the retaining wall and 50% upon final sign-off and handover.
- All masonry works will be carried out by a licensed Mason holding a valid New Zealand Building Practitioners' Registration (BPR) and full public liability insurance of no less than NZD 10,000,000.
- The client is responsible for obtaining any additional consents or permissions not explicitly listed in this quotation. Our team will assist with the Wellington City Council building consent process at no additional charge beyond the fees stated in Item 8.0.
- Weather delays (including but not limited to high winds exceeding 60 km/h, heavy rainfall, or frost conditions common in the New Zealand Wellington region) may result in schedule adjustments. The client will be notified within 24 hours of any such delay.
- All materials specified in this quotation are subject to availability. In the event that a specified material is unavailable, the Mason project manager will propose an equivalent or superior alternative at no additional cost, subject to client approval.
- This quotation does not include any structural alterations to the existing building beyond the scope described. Any additional works identified during the project will be quoted separately in writing before commencement.
- Disputes arising from this contract shall be resolved in accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986. The client may also lodge a complaint with the Master Builders Association of New Zealand or the Disputes Tribunal.
- Payment is due within fourteen (14) days of invoice date. Late payments may attract interest at the rate prescribed under the Interest on Debts Act 1997.
