- 1. Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to fluctuations in material costs within the South Africa Johannesburg construction market.
- 2. Payment Schedule: 40% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and prior to commencement of Mason works. 40% progress payment upon completion of all structural brickwork and blockwork. 20% final balance upon successful handover inspection and sign-off by the client.
- 3. Project Duration: The estimated duration for completion of all Mason works outlined in this Quotation Estimate is six (6) weeks from the date of commencement, subject to weather conditions and client access to the site in South Africa Johannesburg.
- 4. Materials: All bricks, blocks, cement, sand, and aggregate will be sourced from approved suppliers in the Johannesburg region. The Mason team will ensure all materials comply with SANS 1083 and SANS 1215 standards.
- 5. Insurance and Compliance: ProBuild Masonry & Construction (Pty) Ltd holds full public liability insurance (R5,000,000), workers' compensation insurance, and is registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) at Grade 7. All Mason personnel will comply with OHS Act 85 of 1993 regulations.
- 6. Warranty: A twelve (12) month workmanship warranty is provided on all Mason works detailed in this Quotation Estimate. This warranty covers defects in workmanship only and excludes damage caused by natural disasters, structural settlement, or unauthorised alterations.
- 7. Variations: Any additional Mason works or changes to the scope outlined in this Quotation Estimate must be agreed upon in writing prior to execution. A supplementary Quotation Estimate will be issued for any such variations.
- 8. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent construction contract shall be resolved in the Magistrate's Court of Johannesburg, South Africa, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
- 9. Access and Utilities: The client shall provide the Mason team with uninterrupted access to the site, as well as access to water and electrical points for the duration of the project.
