1. Introduction and Scope of WorkThis Quotation Estimate is formally issued by Nile Masonry & Construction Services to Al-Rashid Real Estate Development Co. for the provision of comprehensive Mason services and masonry construction works to be executed at the designated project site in Sudan Khartoum, specifically within the Bahri District of Khartoum North. The total estimated duration for completion of all Mason works under this Quotation Estimate is eight (8) calendar months, commencing from the date of contract signing and site handover in Sudan Khartoum. The works shall be executed in the following phased sequence: foundation masonry (Months 1–2), superstructure wall construction (Months 3–5), partition and lintel works (Months 5–6), plastering and rendering (Months 6–7), and final finishing and handover (Month 8). Progress payments shall be made monthly based on verified completion percentages certified by the client's site representative.
4. Terms and Conditions- Payment Terms: 20% advance payment upon contract execution; 70% in monthly progress payments; 10% retention released upon final acceptance and completion of all Mason works.
- Validity: This Quotation Estimate shall remain valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, prices may be subject to revision due to fluctuations in material costs in the Khartoum market.
- Warranty: A structural warranty of two (2) years is provided on all masonry works from the date of final handover, covering defects in workmanship and materials.
- Compliance: All Mason services shall be performed in accordance with Sudanese building regulations, safety standards, and the specifications outlined in the project drawings approved by the Khartoum municipal authority.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe flooding of the Nile, civil unrest, or government-imposed construction moratoriums in Khartoum.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through amicable negotiation, failing which they shall be referred to arbitration under the Sudanese Arbitration Law, with the seat of arbitration in Khartoum.
- Insurance: The contractor shall maintain comprehensive public liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for all Mason personnel throughout the duration of the project.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the Mason works to be executed in Sudan Khartoum. This document, once countersigned by both parties, shall constitute a binding agreement for the scope of work described.
