- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to revision after the expiry date due to fluctuations in material costs in the Kampala market.
- All masonry works will be carried out in strict compliance with the Uganda National Building Regulations and the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) building bylaws.
- The Mason team shall provide all labour, tools, and small equipment. The client is responsible for the supply of major materials (cement, blocks, sand, aggregate, and reinforcement steel) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- The estimated project duration is five (5) months from the date of commencement, subject to weather conditions and timely availability of materials in Uganda Kampala.
- Any variation or additional masonry work beyond the scope described in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written variation order signed by both parties.
- The Mason contractor shall maintain adequate insurance coverage for workmen's compensation and third-party liability throughout the duration of the project.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through mediation in Kampala, Uganda, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Uganda.
- The client shall provide safe access to the site, adequate water supply, and temporary power connections to facilitate the masonry works.
- A defects liability period of ninety (90) days shall apply from the date of practical completion, during which the Mason team shall rectify any defects in masonry workmanship at no additional cost.
