This Quotation Estimate is issued by Al Noor Mason & Construction Services LLC in response to the client's request for comprehensive masonry works at the Al Reem Island residential development site in United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi. All amounts are quoted in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED). The 5% Value Added Tax (VAT) is applied in accordance with the Federal Tax Authority regulations of the United Arab Emirates. This Quotation Estimate does not include any municipal connection fees, third-party inspection charges, or costs arising from design changes requested after the commencement of Mason works.
The total estimated duration for all Mason works described in this Quotation Estimate is eleven (11) calendar weeks from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The schedule is structured to align with the overall construction programme for Block C in United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi. Key milestones include: completion of external structural blockwork by Week 4, completion of internal partitions by Week 6, stone cladding installation by Week 9, and final plastering and finishing by Week 11. The Mason crew shall consist of a minimum of 24 skilled workers, 4 foremen, and 1 dedicated site engineer reporting directly to the client's project manager.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, material prices and labour rates may be subject to revision due to market fluctuations in the United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi construction sector.
- Payment terms: 30% advance upon signing of the contract, 40% upon completion of structural Mason works, 20% upon completion of cladding and plastering, and 10% retention released after the 12-month defect liability period.
- All Mason work shall be carried out in accordance with BS 5628, UAE Building Code, and Abu Dhabi Municipality specifications. Non-compliant work shall be rectified at the contractor's own cost.
- The contractor shall provide all necessary scaffolding, safety equipment, and personal protective gear in compliance with UAE Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations.
- Any variation or change order to the scope of Mason work must be agreed in writing prior to execution. The unit rates in this Quotation Estimate shall apply to any additional quantities.
- The contractor shall maintain a minimum of AED 2,000,000 in third-party liability insurance and AED 5,000,000 in workers' compensation insurance throughout the project duration in United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through arbitration in Abu Dhabi in accordance with the UAE Federal Arbitration Law.
