The Mathematician will be deployed to support the Client's ongoing research and development initiatives based in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, with the primary work location being the Client's headquarters in the Barra da Tijuca district of Rio de Janeiro.

The Mathematician engaged under this Quotation Estimate holds a Doctorate in Applied Mathematics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and possesses over fifteen years of experience in quantitative modeling, optimization theory, and numerical methods. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: developing and validating mathematical models for the Client's operational processes; performing advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling; designing algorithmic solutions for complex logistical and financial problems; providing technical consulting to the Client's engineering and data science teams; and preparing comprehensive technical reports and documentation in both Portuguese and English.

Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three equal installments of R$ 251.253,33 (two hundred and fifty-one thousand, two hundred and fifty-three reais and thirty-three centavos), due at the following milestones: (i) 30% upon contract signing and project kickoff in Rio de Janeiro; (ii) 40% upon delivery of the second major deliverable (end of week 6); and (iii) 30% upon final acceptance of all deliverables and submission of the closing technical report. • This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to market conditions in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, and the broader national economy.
• The Mathematician's services are governed by the Brazilian Civil Code (Código Civil – Lei nº 10.406/2002) and applicable labor regulations of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
• All intellectual property generated by the Mathematician during the engagement shall be the exclusive property of the Client, as stipulated in the definitive service contract.
• The Client agrees to provide a suitable workspace, internet connectivity, and access to necessary data repositories at their facility in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for the duration of the on-site work.
• Any changes to the scope of work beyond the parameters described in this Quotation Estimate will require a written amendment and may result in additional charges.
