The Mathematician will commence work on or before July 1, 2025, and the full scope of services described in this Quotation Estimate is expected to be completed within a period of fourteen (14) calendar weeks, concluding no later than October 10, 2025. All on-site activities in Canada Montreal will be scheduled in coordination with the client's project management team to minimize disruption to ongoing operations.
The Mathematician assigned to this engagement holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Mathematics from McGill University, Montréal, and possesses over fifteen (15) years of professional experience in numerical analysis, stochastic processes, and computational fluid dynamics. The Mathematician is a registered member of the Société mathématique du Québec and has published over forty (40) peer-reviewed articles in international journals. All work performed under this Quotation Estimate will adhere to the professional standards established by the Canadian Mathematical Society and the applicable regulations of the Province of Québec.
Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three (3) equal instalments: (a) 40% upon execution of the service agreement; (b) 35% upon delivery of the interim technical report; and (c) 25% upon final acceptance of the completed deliverables. All payments are due within thirty (30) days of invoice date and shall be remitted in Canadian Dollars via electronic funds transfer to the account designated in the service agreement. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate prescribed under the Interest Act of Canada.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing and availability of the Mathematician are subject to revision.
- All intellectual property, including but not limited to mathematical models, algorithms, derivations, and reports produced under this engagement, shall become the sole property of the client upon full payment of the total amount specified in this Quotation Estimate.
- The Mathematician shall maintain full professional confidentiality regarding all data, proprietary information, and operational details of the client. A separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) may be executed prior to the commencement of work.
- Any changes to the scope of work beyond what is described in this Quotation Estimate will require a written change order signed by both parties. Additional hours or services will be billed at the unit rates specified herein.
- This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Canada Montreal in accordance with the Code of Civil Procedure of Québec.
- The Mathematician reserves the right to decline or modify the scope of work if the client fails to provide necessary data, access, or cooperation within a reasonable timeframe.
- This document constitutes a Quotation Estimate only and does not form a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties.
