Payment shall be made via bank transfer (bonifico bancario) to the account of the Mathematician as detailed in the invoice. The total amount of €24,278.00 shall be settled in three instalments: 40% upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 35% upon delivery of the seminar series and thesis reviews, and the remaining 25% upon final acceptance of the technical report. All payments are due within thirty (30) calendar days of the respective invoice date. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate prescribed by Italian Legislative Decree 231/2002.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After expiry, all rates and availability must be reconfirmed in writing by the Mathematician.
- All services shall be performed in Italy Naples unless otherwise agreed in a written addendum. The Mathematician reserves the right to conduct up to two (2) remote working days per week from his office in Naples.
- Intellectual property arising from the stochastic models and technical report shall be jointly owned by the Mathematician and the University, subject to a separate IP agreement to be executed prior to commencement of work.
- The Mathematician shall comply with all applicable Italian data-protection regulations (GDPR and D.Lgs. 196/2003) when handling any personal data encountered during the engagement.
- Any change in scope exceeding ten percent (10%) of the original estimated hours shall require a formal variation order signed by both parties before additional work commences.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties. The definitive service agreement shall be governed by the civil law of the Republic of Italy, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of Naples.
- The Mathematician shall carry professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of €1,000,000 for the duration of the engagement, and shall provide a certificate of insurance upon request.
By signing below, the Client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, rates, and scope of work described herein. The Mathematician confirms availability to commence services within fifteen (15) business days of the signed acceptance date.
