2. Scope of Work — Mathematician Services in Nepal KathmanduThe Mathematician will be engaged to perform the following duties and deliverables as part of this Quotation Estimate:

This Quotation Estimate stipulates the following payment structure for the Mathematician engagement in Nepal Kathmandu:
- Advance Payment (30%): NPR 762,750 — Due within 7 working days of signed acceptance of this Quotation Estimate.
- Milestone Payment 1 (25%): NPR 635,625 — Due upon completion of the hydrological modeling phase (Month 3).
- Milestone Payment 2 (25%): NPR 635,625 — Due upon completion of seismic risk assessment deliverables (Month 5).
- Final Payment (20%): NPR 508,500 — Due upon final project handover and acceptance (Month 6).
All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Kathmandu Advanced Analytics & Research Pvt. Ltd., Nabil Bank, Boudha Branch, Kathmandu, Nepal. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month as per Nepal's commercial lending norms.
5. Terms & Conditions- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing for the Mathematician's services may be revised to reflect market conditions in Nepal Kathmandu.
- The Mathematician shall maintain full confidentiality of all proprietary data, models, and research materials provided by the client during the engagement period.
- Any scope changes or additional deliverables beyond those listed in Section 2 shall require a written amendment to this Quotation Estimate, signed by both parties, before work commences.
- The Mathematician is engaged as an independent contractor and not as an employee of the client. All applicable taxes in Nepal shall be handled as per the Inland Revenue Department guidelines.
- Intellectual property generated during the engagement shall be jointly owned by the client and the Mathematician, unless otherwise specified in a separate IP agreement.
- This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Nepal. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Kathmandu, Nepal, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1995.
- The client reserves the right to terminate the engagement with 30 days' written notice. In such cases, all work completed up to the termination date shall be invoiced at the rates specified in this Quotation Estimate.
- All deliverables shall be submitted in both digital (PDF, source code) and printed formats as required by the client's documentation standards in Nepal Kathmandu.
