Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be made in accordance with the following schedule:
- 30% deposit (£14,137.20 incl. VAT) due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and execution of the service agreement.
- 40% milestone payment (£18,849.60 incl. VAT) due upon delivery of the draft technical report for client review.
- 30% final payment (£14,137.20 incl. VAT) due within 14 calendar days of final report acceptance and completion of both on-site workshops.
All payments shall be made by direct bank transfer to the account details provided in the accompanying invoice. Late payments will attract interest at a rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 applicable in the United Kingdom.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates and availability of the Mathematician are subject to reconfirmation.
- All work performed by the Mathematician shall be conducted in accordance with the professional standards of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA), United Kingdom.
- The client grants the Mathematician full access to all data, systems, and documentation necessary to complete the scope of work described herein. The client warrants that all data provided is lawfully obtained and free from third-party encumbrances.
- Intellectual property in the final deliverables (reports, code, models) shall vest in the client upon full payment. The Mathematician retains the right to reference the engagement in professional portfolios, subject to a 30-day confidentiality clearance period.
- Either party may terminate this engagement with 14 days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall pay for all work completed up to the termination date, plus a 10% administrative fee on the remaining contract value.
