Terms Governing This Quotation Estimate
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be revised due to fluctuating parts costs in the South African automotive market.
- Payment is due within fourteen (14) days of invoice issuance. A 10% deposit is required to secure the Mechanic workshop slot and to order OEM or equivalent parts.
- All parts supplied by our Mechanic workshop in Cape Town carry a minimum 12-month or 20,000 km manufacturer warranty, whichever expires first, in compliance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) No. 68 of 2008.
- Labour performed by our certified Mechanic team is guaranteed for ninety (90) days from the date of completion. Any defects arising from workmanship will be rectified at no additional cost.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include any additional repairs that may be discovered during the course of the work. Should the Mechanic identify further issues, a supplementary Quotation Estimate will be issued for the client's written approval before any additional work commences.
- All services are performed at our workshop in Woodstock, Cape Town, South Africa, or at the client's premises within the City of Cape Town metropolitan area (a travel surcharge of R150 per trip applies for off-site Mechanic services).
- The client acknowledges that this Quotation Estimate is a good-faith estimate and that final costs may vary by up to 10% depending on the condition of components found during disassembly by the Mechanic.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved in the Magistrate's Court of Cape Town, South Africa, in accordance with the jurisdictional provisions of the CPA.
