General Terms
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and availability may be subject to revision.
- All services described herein shall be performed by a qualified and registered Mechanical Engineer holding a current Engineers Australia (EA) membership and appropriate Queensland professional indemnity insurance.
- Payment terms: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of Phase 2 (design and analysis), and 30% upon final commissioning and handover. All invoices are payable within fourteen (14) days of issue.
- All work shall be carried out in compliance with the Australian Standards (AS/NZS) applicable to mechanical engineering, the Queensland Building and Fire Authority (QBFA) regulations, and the National Construction Code (NCC) as adopted in Australia Brisbane.
- The Mechanical Engineer assigned to this project shall provide weekly progress reports to the client's project manager and shall attend bi-weekly coordination meetings at the client's Brisbane office or via video conference.
- Any variation to the scope of work beyond the parameters outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a written variation order signed by both parties prior to commencement of additional work.
- All intellectual property, design documents, and engineering calculations produced under this engagement shall become the property of the client upon full payment of the Grand Total stated in this Quotation Estimate.
- This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia Brisbane.
- Our Mechanical Engineer team maintains a minimum of $20,000,000 in professional indemnity insurance, with certificates available upon request.
- Travel beyond the 50 km radius of Australia Brisbane CBD will be charged at $0.85 per kilometre plus applicable tolls and parking fees, to be itemised on the final invoice.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Mechanical Engineer services to be delivered in Australia Brisbane. The service provider confirms availability to commence work within ten (10) business days of written acceptance.
