This Quotation Estimate is issued by Nairobi Mechanical Engineering Solutions Ltd. to provide comprehensive professional services of a certified Mechanical Engineer for the client's industrial facility located in the Industrial Area, Kenya Nairobi. The Mechanical Engineer assigned to this project will hold a valid registration with the Engineering Board of Kenya (EBK) and possess a minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive experience in industrial mechanical systems, thermal engineering, fluid mechanics, and plant maintenance within the East African region. All services will be delivered in strict accordance with the Kenya National Building Code, the Occupational Safety and Health Act (2007), and applicable ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards.

This Quotation Estimate shall be settled in accordance with the following payment schedule: a mobilisation advance of thirty percent (30%) upon signing of the service agreement; a progress payment of forty percent (40%) upon completion of the design and installation supervision phases; and a final balance of thirty percent (30%) upon successful handover of all deliverables and the client's written acceptance. All payments shall be made in Kenyan Shillings (KES) via bank transfer to the account details provided by Nairobi Mechanical Engineering Solutions Ltd. The monthly retainer for the Mechanical Engineer on-call support shall be invoiced on the first business day of each calendar month.
Important Conditions Governing This Quotation Estimate for Mechanical Engineer Services in Kenya Nairobi
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Kenya Nairobi.
- All Mechanical Engineer services shall be performed by a duly registered and licensed professional as verified by the Engineering Board of Kenya. The client reserves the right to request proof of registration prior to commencement.
- The Mechanical Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of KES 10,000,000 for the duration of the engagement.
- Any variation in scope beyond the items listed in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and additional cost assessment before execution.
- The Mechanical Engineer shall comply with all applicable laws of the Republic of Kenya, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the Environmental Management and Coordination Act, and the Kenya National Building Code.
- Confidentiality: All technical data, drawings, and proprietary information shared during the course of this engagement shall remain the exclusive property of the client. The Mechanical Engineer shall not disclose such information to any third party without written consent.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Kenya Nairobi, and failing that, through arbitration under the Arbitration Act, 1995 of Kenya.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties.
