1. Scope of Work & Description

This Quotation Estimate is issued by Atlas Mechanical Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd in response to the formal request for professional services from Harbour Industrial Holdings (Pty) Ltd. The scope encompasses the full engagement of a senior Mechanical Engineer to conduct a comprehensive condition assessment, performance optimisation, and capital expenditure planning for the client's manufacturing plant situated in the South Africa Cape Town industrial corridor. 3. Terms and Conditions

  1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed after the expiry date, the Mechanical Engineer team reserves the right to re-evaluate rates based on prevailing market conditions in South Africa Cape Town.
  2. Payment terms: 40% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of the Condition Assessment Report and CapEx plan, and 20% upon final project close-out and handover. All invoices are payable within fourteen (14) days of receipt.
  3. All work performed by the Mechanical Engineer shall comply with the ECSA Code of Conduct, SANS standards, and all applicable South African legislation. The Mechanical Engineer carries professional indemnity insurance in the amount of R 10 000 000.
  4. The client shall provide safe access to all plant areas, relevant as-built drawings, and operational data prior to the commencement of site work. Delays caused by the client's failure to provide access will result in a pro-rata extension of the project timeline at no additional cost to the client, but the Mechanical Engineer is entitled to claim standby rates of R 4 500 per day for idle time exceeding two (2) consecutive days.
  5. Any variation in scope beyond the items listed in this Quotation Estimate must be agreed in writing by both parties prior to execution. The Mechanical Engineer will issue a supplementary quotation for any additional work.
  6. Confidentiality: All data, drawings, and operational information shared by the client in South Africa Cape Town shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without written consent.
  7. Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA) in Cape Town, Western Cape.
  8. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties. The Mechanical Engineer firm shall issue a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Statement of Work (SOW) upon acceptance.
