This Quotation Estimate is issued by Mokoena Mechanical Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd to provide a comprehensive and itemised cost breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Mechanical Engineer to deliver design, analysis, and on-site consultancy services at the client's industrial facility in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Mechanical Engineer, Eng. Thabo Mokoena, will provide the following professional services at the designated project site in Johannesburg, South Africa. 3.1 Payment shall be made in three (3) instalments: 40% upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and execution of the service agreement; 40% upon completion of the design and engineering documentation phase; and 20% upon successful commissioning and handover of all deliverables.
3.2 All payments are due within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of invoice. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, compounded monthly, in accordance with the Late Payment of Interest Act 3 of 2003 (South Africa).
3.3 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed after the expiry date, the Mechanical Engineer reserves the right to re-evaluate and adjust the pricing to reflect any changes in material costs, labour rates, or exchange rate fluctuations relevant to the South Africa Johannesburg market.
3.4 Any variations or additional work requested by the client beyond the scope defined in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a separate written variation order and additional Quotation Estimate prior to commencement of such work.
The Mechanical Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate is a registered Professional Engineer (PrEng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and holds a valid professional indemnity insurance policy with a cover of no less than R 5,000,000. All engineering work will be performed in strict compliance with the Engineering and Built Environment Act 34 of 2018, applicable SANS standards, and all relevant municipal by-laws governing the Johannesburg, South Africa metropolitan area. The Mechanical Engineer shall maintain full professional liability for the accuracy and integrity of all design calculations, specifications, and engineering reports delivered under this engagement.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and confirms acceptance of the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the Mechanical Engineer services to be rendered in Johannesburg, South Africa. This Quotation Estimate, once signed by both parties, forms part of the overarching service agreement between Mokoena Mechanical Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd and Industrial Process Holdings (Pty) Ltd.
