This Quotation Estimate is issued by the undersigned Mechanical Engineer to provide comprehensive professional engineering services for the redesign, optimization, and commissioning of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) infrastructure at the client’s industrial facility located in Spain Madrid. All deliverables will be produced in both Spanish and English to facilitate coordination with the client’s multinational stakeholders.

This Quotation Estimate proposes the following payment schedule, to be confirmed upon formal acceptance:
- 30% advance payment upon signing of the professional services contract (EUR 12,396.45 incl. VAT).
- 40% upon completion of design documentation and issue of construction drawings (EUR 16,528.60 incl. VAT).
- 30% upon successful commissioning and delivery of the final report (EUR 12,396.45 incl. VAT).
All payments shall be made by bank transfer to the account of the Mechanical Engineer as detailed in the contract annex. Invoices will be issued in accordance with Spanish tax regulations (Ley 58/2003, General Tax Law) and will include the applicable IVA rate of 21%.
4.1 Validity. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the Mechanical Engineer reserves the right to revise the pricing due to potential changes in material costs, labor rates, or applicable regulations in Spain Madrid.
4.2 Professional Liability. The Mechanical Engineer maintains a professional indemnity insurance policy with a minimum coverage of EUR 1,000,000 per claim, as required by the COIM and Spanish professional regulations. A certificate of insurance shall be provided upon request.
4.3 Intellectual Property. All designs, calculations, and technical documents produced under this engagement shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full payment. The Mechanical Engineer retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios with prior written consent.
4.4 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction. This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Spain. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Madrid, Spain, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
4.5 Confidentiality. Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all technical, commercial, and operational information exchanged in connection with this project. This obligation shall survive the termination of the professional engagement for a period of five (5) years.
4.6 Force Majeure. Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or public health emergencies affecting the Madrid region.

A definitive professional services contract, compliant with the Spanish Civil Code (Articles 1254–1268) and the applicable regulations of the COIM, must be executed prior to the commencement of any work.
