This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Engineering Solutions Ltd to provide a comprehensive and itemised cost breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Mechanical Engineer to deliver a full mechanical design, analysis, and commissioning programme for the Thames Industrial Holdings PLC manufacturing facility located in the Docklands district of United Kingdom London. This document constitutes a formal Quotation Estimate and is intended to enable the client to make an informed procurement decision in accordance with their internal capital expenditure approval processes.

The scope of work outlined herein encompasses all activities to be performed by our Mechanical Engineer team, including but not limited to: detailed mechanical design of process piping systems, structural integrity assessment of existing plant equipment, thermal and fluid dynamics analysis, fabrication oversight, on-site installation supervision, and final commissioning and handover documentation. All work will be executed in strict compliance with British Standards (BS), the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000, and the relevant Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines applicable within United Kingdom London.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed after the expiry date, Meridian Engineering Solutions Ltd reserves the right to reissue this Quotation Estimate with revised pricing to reflect any changes in labour rates, material costs, or exchange rates applicable in United Kingdom London.
All prices quoted are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of the Mechanical Engineer's professional fees, insurance, and professional indemnity cover. VAT is charged at the current United Kingdom standard rate of 20% and is shown separately.
Payment terms: 30% advance deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of the detailed design phase (end of Week 10), and 30% upon final commissioning sign-off and handover of all documentation. All invoices are payable within thirty (30) days of the invoice date in accordance with the UK Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
The Mechanical Engineer assigned to this project shall hold a minimum of Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and shall maintain full professional indemnity insurance of no less than £5,000,000 per claim.
All work shall be carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and all applicable local authority regulations for the United Kingdom London metropolitan area.
Any variation to the scope of work beyond the parameters described in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a written variation order and a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued by Meridian Engineering Solutions Ltd prior to commencement of the additional work.
Intellectual property: All design documents, CAD files, and engineering calculations produced under this engagement shall become the property of the client upon full and final payment. The Mechanical Engineer retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios and case studies, subject to the client's confidentiality requirements.
This Quotation Estimate is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Kingdom London.
Meridian Engineering Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses. Total liability under this Quotation Estimate shall not exceed the total contract value of £66,120.00.

By signing below, the client confirms acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and authorises Meridian Engineering Solutions Ltd to commence the engagement of the Mechanical Engineer team as described herein. This signature constitutes a binding agreement for the services outlined in this document, subject to the terms and conditions set out in Section 3.
