This Quotation Estimate has been prepared by Northgate Mechanical Engineering Ltd to provide a comprehensive and transparent breakdown of costs associated with the engagement of a qualified Mechanical Engineer for professional consultancy, design, and project delivery services. All rates are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT is applied at the current United Kingdom standard rate of 20%. This Quotation Estimate is issued in accordance with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) requirements for taxable services provided within the United Kingdom.

This Quotation Estimate is based on the following assumptions regarding the Mechanical Engineer engagement in United Kingdom Manchester:

  • The project scope is limited to the services described in Section 2. Any additional or variation work will be subject to a revised Quotation Estimate.
  • Access to the site in Manchester, United Kingdom, will be provided by the client at agreed times without additional charge.

  • Final balance of 15% payable upon completion of commissioning and delivery of the handover package.
  • All invoices are payable within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. Late payments may attract interest at the rate prescribed under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
  1. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until formally accepted in writing by both parties and a service agreement is executed.
  2. The Mechanical Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than £5,000,000 per claim throughout the duration of the engagement.
  3. All intellectual property, design documents, and reports produced by the Mechanical Engineer shall become the property of the client upon full payment of the Quotation Estimate total.
  4. Confidentiality: Both parties agree to treat all project information, site data, and commercial details as strictly confidential in accordance with UK data protection legislation (UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018).
  5. Limitation of Liability: The total liability of the Mechanical Engineer under this Quotation Estimate shall not exceed the total value of the services rendered. Liability for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages is expressly excluded.
  6. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Manchester, United Kingdom, in accordance with the rules of the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR). If mediation fails, the matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
