1. Scope of Work & Description
This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Engineering Solutions LLC in response to the formal request for professional Mechanical Engineer services for the design, review, and code-compliance verification of the heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), hydronic piping, and fire suppression systems for the proposed 14-story commercial office complex located at 412 West 38th Street, Midtown Manhattan, United States New York City. 3. Payment Schedule
Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in accordance with the following milestone-based schedule: 20% upon execution of the professional services agreement; 25% upon completion of Design Development; 25% upon delivery of Construction Documentation; 15% upon issuance of the NYC building permit; and 15% upon completion of commissioning and delivery of as-built documents. All invoices are payable within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as permitted under New York State law.
4. Terms and Conditions
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all pricing is subject to revision based on current market conditions in United States New York City.
- The Mechanical Engineer of record shall maintain a minimum of $2,000,000 in professional liability insurance and $1,000,000 in general liability insurance throughout the duration of the engagement.
- All work shall comply with the New York City Building Code, Title 12 of the NYC Administrative Code, and all amendments in effect at the time of design and construction.
- The client shall provide timely access to project sites, existing building data, and coordination with other design disciplines. Delays attributable to the client shall result in a proportional extension of the project schedule and associated fees.
- This estimate does not include third-party costs such as NYC DOB permit fees, fire marshal inspection fees, DEP registration fees, or costs for specialized testing laboratories.
- Any change in scope beyond the parameters described herein shall be subject to a written change order signed by both parties prior to the commencement of additional work.
- Governing law for this agreement shall be the laws of the State of New York, and any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, United States New York City.
5. Acceptance & Authorization
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorizes Meridian Engineering Solutions LLC to proceed with the Mechanical Engineer services as described herein for the project located in United States New York City. This signature constitutes a binding agreement subject to the terms and conditions stated above.
