- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, pricing and availability of the Mechanical Engineer team may be subject to revision.
- All services described herein shall be performed by a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) registered with the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists, and shall be stamped and sealed in accordance with California Business and Professions Code Section 6730.
- Payment terms: 30% upon execution of this Quotation Estimate as a contract, 40% upon completion of design and permit approval by the City and County of San Francisco, and 30% upon final commissioning and project closeout.
- All work will be conducted in compliance with the laws of the State of California and the municipal codes of United States San Francisco, including but not limited to the San Francisco Building Code, the San Francisco Planning Code, and all environmental regulations enforced by the San Francisco Department of the Environment.
- The Mechanical Engineer services are subject to a minimum engagement period. Cancellation prior to completion of the design phase will incur a 25% fee on the remaining balance of this Quotation Estimate.
- Any changes in scope, additional design iterations, or expedited scheduling requests will be billed at the hourly rate of $285.00 per hour for the senior Mechanical Engineer and $165.00 per hour for associate engineers, subject to a separate written amendment to this Quotation Estimate.
- Golden Gate Engineering Solutions, LLC maintains Professional Liability Insurance of $5,000,000 per occurrence and General Liability Insurance of $2,000,000, with certificates available upon request. All work is performed within the jurisdiction of United States San Francisco, California.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties. Upon mutual execution, it shall serve as the governing agreement for the Mechanical Engineer services described herein.
- All intellectual property, design documents, calculations, and deliverables produced under this engagement shall become the property of the client upon full payment of the total amount specified in this Quotation Estimate.
