SCOPE OF WORK – MECHATRONICS ENGINEER SERVICESThis Quotation Estimate is issued by Brussels Engineering Solutions BV to provide comprehensive Mechatronics Engineer services for the design, integration, and commissioning of automated production systems at the client's facility located in Belgium Brussels. The scope encompasses the full lifecycle of mechatronic system development, including mechanical design, electrical control architecture, embedded software programming, sensor integration, and final system validation in accordance with European and Belgian regulatory standards.
The assigned Mechatronics Engineer will operate on-site in Belgium Brussels for the majority of the project duration, with remote support available for post-commissioning maintenance. All deliverables will comply with the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, and applicable IEC 61508 functional safety standards.

- This Quotation Estimate constitutes a formal offer by Brussels Engineering Solutions BV for the provision of Mechatronics Engineer services as described herein. Acceptance of this document does not constitute a binding contract until a separate Service Agreement is executed by both parties.
- Payment terms: 30% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of on-site installation in Belgium Brussels, and 30% upon successful Sign-Off of the Site Acceptance Test (SAT). Invoices are payable within 30 days of issue date via bank transfer to the account specified on the invoice.
- The Mechatronics Engineer shall adhere to all applicable Belgian health and safety regulations, including the Belgian Royal Decree of 28 March 2014 on the use of personal protective equipment and the EU Machinery Directive. The client is responsible for providing safe access to the work area in Belgium Brussels.
- Intellectual property: All designs, firmware, and documentation created specifically for this project under this Quotation Estimate shall become the property of the client upon full payment. Pre-existing tools, libraries, and methodologies of the Mechatronics Engineer remain the property of Brussels Engineering Solutions BV.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government-mandated shutdowns in Belgium Brussels.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting services shall be resolved through the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium, in accordance with Belgian law.
- Any changes to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing via a formal Change Order. The Mechatronics Engineer will provide a revised cost estimate within 5 business days of receiving a change request.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include the cost of third-party hardware (PLCs, drives, sensors, actuators, structural steel, etc.) unless explicitly stated. A separate hardware procurement estimate will be provided upon request.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for Mechatronics Engineer services in Belgium Brussels and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined above. This acceptance triggers the 30% advance payment obligation.
