The Mechatronics Engineer assigned to this project will deliver the following professional services at the client's facility located in Canada Vancouver:
- System Architecture & Design: Development of a complete mechatronic system architecture integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components for a 12-station robotic assembly line. The Mechatronics Engineer will produce detailed CAD models, electrical schematics, and control logic specifications compliant with CSA C22.1 and IEC 60204-1 standards applicable in Canada Vancouver industrial operations.
- PLC & HMI Programming: Design and implementation of programmable logic controller (PLC) programs using Siemens S7-1500 and Allen-Bradley ControlLogix platforms, including human-machine interface (HMI) development for operator monitoring and diagnostic functions.

The Mechatronics Engineer engagement is projected to span approximately 12 weeks from the date of contract execution. The initial design phase will commence within 10 business days of receiving a signed acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. All on-site work in Canada Vancouver will be scheduled in coordination with the client's production calendar to minimize downtime. A detailed Gantt chart and milestone schedule will be provided within 5 business days of contract signing.
- 25% Advance Payment: Due upon execution of the service agreement (CAD $52,329.38).
- 35% Milestone Payment: Due upon completion of design and programming phases (CAD $73,261.13).
- 30% Commissioning Payment: Due upon successful completion of the 72-hour trial run (CAD $62,795.25).
- 10% Final Payment: Due upon delivery of documentation, training completion, and warranty commencement (CAD $20,931.75).
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. After expiry, pricing may be revised to reflect market conditions in Canada Vancouver.
- All work performed by the Mechatronics Engineer shall comply with the Canada Labour Code, BC Occupational Health and Safety Regulation, and applicable municipal bylaws in Canada Vancouver.
- The client shall provide safe access to the Canada Vancouver facility, necessary utilities (3-phase power, compressed air, network connectivity), and a dedicated project liaison.
- Intellectual property developed specifically for this project shall vest in the client upon full payment. Pre-existing IP of the Mechatronics Engineer or Northwest Precision Engineering remains the property of the respective owner.
- Liability under this Quotation Estimate is capped at the total contract value. Neither party shall be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through mediation in Canada Vancouver, and if unresolved, through the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and a formal Service Agreement is executed.
