This Quotation Estimate is issued by Apex Mechatronics Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in response to the formal request for proposal received from M/s Precision Automation Industries Ltd. The purpose of this document is to provide a comprehensive, itemized cost breakdown for the engagement of a Mechatronics Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and commission an automated production line at the client's manufacturing facility located in India New Delhi. All pricing, specifications, and deliverables outlined herein are specific to the project scope described below and are valid only for the stated validity period.
The Mechatronics Engineer assigned to this project will be responsible for the following activities at the client's premises in India New Delhi:
- System Design & Architecture: Development of a complete mechatronic system architecture integrating mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software components for the automated assembly line. This includes CAD modeling, control system design, and sensor/actuator selection.
- PLC & HMI Programming: Design, programming, and configuration of Programmable Logic Controllers (Siemens S7-1500 series) and Human-Machine Interface panels for real-time monitoring and operator control of the production line.
- Electrical & Piping Layout: Preparation of detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and pneumatic/hydraulic circuit layouts compliant with Indian Electrical Code (IEC 60204-1) and local India New Delhi municipal regulations.
- Robotics Integration: Selection, installation, and programming of two six-axis industrial robots (FANUC or equivalent) for pick-and-place and welding operations on the assembly line.
- Embedded Systems & IoT: Development of embedded control firmware and IoT connectivity modules for remote monitoring, predictive maintenance, and data logging of the mechatronic system.
- Testing, Commissioning & Handover: Full system integration testing, performance validation against specified KPIs, operator training (minimum 5 days), and formal handover documentation including as-built drawings, operation manuals, and maintenance schedules.
- Post-Commissioning Support: A 90-day warranty period covering defect rectification, software patches, and on-site technical support at the India New Delhi facility.

The Mechatronics Engineer engagement is estimated to span approximately 12 weeks from the date of purchase order confirmation. The detailed milestone schedule will be provided as an annexure upon contract execution. All on-site work will be conducted at the client's facility in India New Delhi (Okhla Industrial Area, Phase II) during standard business hours (09:00–18:00 IST, Monday to Saturday).
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, prices may be revised due to market fluctuations in component costs, exchange rates, or regulatory changes applicable in India New Delhi.
- Payment terms: 30% advance upon order confirmation, 40% upon successful commissioning, and 30% upon final handover and acceptance certificate.
- All work shall comply with the Indian Standards (IS), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) requirements, and applicable regulations of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and local electrical authorities.
- The Mechatronics Engineer and all supporting staff shall adhere to the client's site safety protocols, PPE requirements, and access control policies at the India New Delhi facility.
- Intellectual property developed specifically for this project shall vest with the client upon full payment. Pre-existing IP of Apex Mechatronics Solutions remains the property of the vendor.
- Any changes to scope beyond the defined work items will be subject to a revised Quotation Estimate and mutual written agreement before execution.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in New Delhi, India.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal Purchase Order or Service Agreement is executed by both parties.
