1. Scope of Work – Mechatronics Engineer Services

This Quotation Estimate is issued by Apex Mechatronics & Automation Solutions Ltd. to provide the services of a qualified Mechatronics Engineer for the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of integrated electromechanical and control systems at the client's facilities located in Nigeria Abuja. The Mechatronics Engineer assigned to this project holds a B.Eng. in Mechatronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, and possesses over twelve (12) years of progressive experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, robotics integration, and embedded systems design within the West African market.

The scope encompasses the full lifecycle of the automation project, from initial site survey and feasibility assessment in Nigeria Abuja, through detailed system design, procurement coordination, on-site installation, programming, testing, and final handover. All deliverables shall comply with Nigerian Standards (Nigerian Standards Organisation – SON) and applicable International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) guidelines.

3. Terms and Conditions

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to revision upon expiry due to fluctuations in the Naira exchange rate and component availability.
Payment terms: 40% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon successful commissioning and acceptance of the system in Nigeria Abuja, and 20% upon completion of the twelve-month warranty period.
All payments shall be made in Nigerian Naira (NGN) via bank transfer to the account of Apex Mechatronics & Automation Solutions Ltd. at Zenith Bank Plc, Garki Branch, Abuja.
The Mechatronics Engineer and all supporting personnel shall be fully insured against occupational hazards and third-party liability for the duration of the project in Nigeria Abuja.
The client shall provide adequate workspace, power supply, and access to the installation site in Nigeria Abuja at least five (5) working days prior to the commencement of on-site activities.
Warranty: A twelve (12) month warranty is provided on all installed components and workmanship. The warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, or force majeure events.
Any variation or change in scope beyond what is stated in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and additional cost assessment.
Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (Cap A18, LFN 2004), with the seat of arbitration in Abuja, Nigeria.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal Purchase Order or Contract Agreement is executed by both parties.

4. Project Timeline

The estimated project duration from mobilisation to final handover is ten (10) working weeks, commencing upon receipt of the advance payment. The Mechatronics Engineer shall submit a detailed Gantt chart and weekly progress reports to the client's project officer in Nigeria Abuja throughout the execution phase.
