1. Scope of Work – Mechatronics Engineer ServicesThe Mechatronics Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties at the client's premises in Nigeria Lagos:
- Conduct a comprehensive site survey and feasibility assessment of the existing production line at the Ikeja Industrial Estate facility.
- Design and develop a fully integrated mechatronic control system encompassing PLC programming (Siemens S7-1500 / Allen-Bradley ControlLogix), HMI/SCADA configuration, and industrial networking (PROFINET / EtherNet/IP).
- Specify, procure, and oversee the installation of servo drives, variable-frequency drives (VFDs), industrial robots (6-axis, 10 kg payload), and pneumatic/hydraulic actuation subsystems.
- Write, test, and document all ladder logic, structured text, and function-block diagrams required for the automated sequence of operations.
- Perform factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) in coordination with the client's operations team in Nigeria Lagos.
- Deliver a complete as-built documentation package, operator training (minimum 40 hours), and a 12-month preventive-maintenance schedule.
- Provide on-call technical support and a 90-day defect-liability period following final commissioning.

This Quotation Estimate is structured on a milestone-based payment schedule to align cash-flow with project deliverables:
- 30% Advance (₦ 60,855,750): Due within 7 working days of signed acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, prior to mobilisation of the Mechatronics Engineer team to Nigeria Lagos.
- 40% Progress (₦ 81,141,000): Payable upon successful completion of FAT and delivery of all hardware to the Nigeria Lagos site.
- 20% Commissioning (₦ 40,570,500): Payable upon successful SAT and handover of the fully operational mechatronic system.
- 10% Retention (₦ 20,285,250): Released 90 days after final commissioning, subject to satisfactory completion of the defect-liability period.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and are subject to revision upon expiry.
- All work shall be performed in strict compliance with Nigerian Engineering Standards (NES), NEMSA regulations, and the applicable building and electrical codes of Nigeria Lagos.
- The Mechatronics Engineer and support staff shall be provided with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and site access by the client. Apex Mechatronics assumes responsibility for the professional competence and insurance of its personnel.
- Any variation in scope exceeding 10% of the total contract value shall be subject to a revised Quotation Estimate and written approval by both parties before additional work commences.
- Intellectual property, including all PLC code, HMI graphics, and design drawings developed under this engagement, shall vest in the client upon full payment.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (Cap A18, LFN 2004).
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and the advance payment is received.
