This Quotation Estimate is issued by ATL Mechatronics Solutions (Pty) Ltd to provide a comprehensive, itemised cost breakdown for the engagement of a senior Mechatronics Engineer to deliver integrated mechanical, electrical, and software engineering services at the client's manufacturing facility in South Africa Cape Town. This document serves as a formal pricing proposal and does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed the accompanying Service Level Agreement (SLA). All figures are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate of 15%.
The Mechatronics Engineer assigned to this project will hold a BEng (Mechatronics) degree from a recognised South African institution, a minimum of eight (8) years of post-qualification experience in industrial automation, and professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). The scope encompasses the following deliverables:

Payment against this Quotation Estimate shall be structured as follows:
- 30% deposit (R 88,803.00) due upon signing of the SLA and prior to commencement of the site assessment phase.
- 40% progress payment (R 118,404.00) due upon successful completion of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and handover of all engineering documentation.
- 30% final payment (R 88,803.00) due upon successful Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and completion of operator training in Cape Town.
All payments are to be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the bank account detailed on the invoice. Late payments will attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, in accordance with the National Credit Act of South Africa.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed after the expiry date, a revised quotation will be required to reflect any changes in material costs or exchange rates.
- The Mechatronics Engineer shall comply with all applicable South African legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), the National Building Regulations, and the ECSA Code of Conduct for Professional Engineers.
- All work will be performed at the client's premises in South Africa Cape Town unless otherwise agreed in writing. The client is responsible for providing safe working conditions, site access, and any necessary permits.
- Intellectual property rights in all custom control logic, HMI configurations, and engineering drawings developed under this engagement shall vest in the client upon full and final payment.
- ATL Mechatronics Solutions (Pty) Ltd shall carry professional indemnity insurance of no less than R 5,000,000 and public liability insurance of no less than R 10,000,000 for the duration of the project.
- Any variation in scope beyond the items listed in Section 2 will be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate and written approval from both parties before additional work commences.
- This project is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes shall be resolved by arbitration in Cape Town in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA).
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of the Mechatronics Engineer in South Africa Cape Town. This signature does not constitute acceptance of the SLA, which will be issued separately for execution.
