The Mechatronics Engineer assigned to this project holds a Master of Science in Mechatronic Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Chicago. The engineer possesses over twelve (12) years of progressive experience in the design and implementation of electromechanical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial robotics, sensor networks, and embedded control systems. The engineer is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Illinois and maintains active membership in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). All deliverables will comply with applicable United States federal and Illinois state regulations, including OSHA safety standards, NFPA electrical codes, and ASME design guidelines.

Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be structured as follows: 30% deposit due upon contract execution; 40% due upon completion of design and procurement milestones; 30% due upon successful commissioning and acceptance at the United States Chicago project site. All payments are due within thirty (30) days of invoice date. Late payments shall accrue interest at 1.5% per month. • This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, pricing may be subject to revision based on material cost fluctuations and labor market conditions in the United States Chicago area.
• All work performed by the Mechatronics Engineer shall adhere to the project specifications outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and any mutually agreed-upon change orders.
• The client is responsible for providing safe access to the project site in United States Chicago, including all necessary permits, scaffolding, and utility connections required for installation and testing activities.
• Intellectual property developed specifically for this engagement shall remain the property of the client upon full payment. Pre-existing tools, libraries, and methodologies of the Mechatronics Engineer remain the property of Apex Mechatronics Solutions, LLC.
• Liability under this agreement shall not exceed the total contract value. Neither party shall be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
• This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Cook County, Chicago, Illinois.
• Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, or government-mandated shutdowns affecting the United States Chicago region, shall extend project timelines proportionally without penalty to either party.
