This Quotation Estimate is issued to provide a comprehensive and transparent financial overview of the professional services to be rendered by a qualified Medical Researcher operating within the jurisdiction of Belgium Brussels. The Medical Researcher engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall provide the following professional services within the Belgium Brussels metropolitan area and its surrounding regions:
- Design and execution of clinical and pre-clinical research protocols in compliance with Belgian and EU medical research regulations (including the Belgian Law of 7 May 2004 on Human Biomedical Research).
- Conduct of systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, and evidence synthesis relevant to the client's research objectives.
- Statistical analysis, data interpretation, and peer-reviewed manuscript preparation for submission to international medical journals.
- Coordination of multi-centre research activities across hospitals and academic institutions located in Belgium Brussels, including the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).
- Regulatory liaison with the Belgian Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products (FAMHP/AFMPS) and the local ethics committee (CEC) in Brussels.
- Monthly progress reporting and quarterly review meetings conducted at the client's premises in Belgium Brussels or at the researcher's affiliated laboratory.

Payment for the services described in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three equal instalments: 40% upon contract signing, 35% upon completion of the mid-project review (month 3), and 25% upon final delivery of all research deliverables. All payments shall be transferred via bank transfer to the account of the Medical Researcher registered in Belgium Brussels. Late payments shall incur interest at the rate prescribed by the Belgian Code of Economic Law. Invoices will be issued in accordance with Belgian fiscal regulations and will include the applicable VAT identification number.
5.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and availability of the Medical Researcher are subject to re-evaluation.
5.2 The Medical Researcher shall maintain full professional indemnity insurance and comply with all applicable Belgian and European Union medical research directives, including Regulation (EU) No 536/2014 on clinical trials.
5.3 All intellectual property generated during the course of this engagement shall be jointly owned by the client and the Medical Researcher, unless otherwise agreed in a separate intellectual property addendum.
5.4 The Medical Researcher reserves the right to decline or modify the scope of work if ethical or regulatory constraints in Belgium Brussels render any part of the project non-compliant.
5.5 Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent contract shall be resolved by the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium, in accordance with Belgian civil law.
5.6 All personal data processed under this engagement shall be handled in strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian Data Protection Act of 30 July 2018.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of the Medical Researcher in Belgium Brussels. This signature constitutes formal acceptance and authorizes the commencement of services as described in Section 2.
