This Quotation Estimate is issued in response to the formal request submitted by the client for the engagement of a qualified Medical Researcher to conduct comprehensive clinical and epidemiological research activities within the metropolitan area of Brazil Rio de Janeiro. The scope encompasses the design, execution, data collection, statistical analysis, and final reporting of a multi-center observational study focused on cardiovascular risk factors among the urban population of Rio de Janeiro. The Medical Researcher will operate under the supervision of the client's principal investigator and will be based at the designated research facility located in the Centro district of Brazil Rio de Janeiro.

The Medical Researcher will be responsible for coordinating fieldwork across a minimum of four (4) public health units in the municipalities of Rio de Janeiro, including but not limited to the zones of Zona Sul, Zona Norte, Zona Oeste, and Centro. All research protocols will comply with the regulations established by the Brazilian National Health Council (Conselho Nacional de Saúde - CNS) and the local ethics committee (Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa - CEP) of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be made in six (6) equal monthly installments of R$ 100,088.09, due on the 5th business day of each month, commencing from the month following the formal acceptance of this document. Payments shall be processed via bank transfer (TED/PIX) to the account designated by the service provider. A 2% monthly interest penalty will apply to any overdue installment, in accordance with Brazilian commercial law (Código Civil, Art. 412).

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all pricing and availability terms are subject to revision.
• The Medical Researcher and all supporting personnel shall be bound by a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and a Data Protection Agreement in compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD – Lei nº 13.709/2018).
• All research activities will be conducted exclusively within the jurisdiction of Brazil Rio de Janeiro, unless prior written authorization is granted by the client for fieldwork in neighboring municipalities.
• The Medical Researcher shall submit a detailed progress report to the client on the last business day of each month, including data collection metrics, preliminary findings, and any deviations from the approved protocol.
• Intellectual property arising from the research shall be jointly owned by the client and the service provider, as stipulated in the definitive service contract.
• Force majeure events, including but not limited to public health emergencies, natural disasters, or government-mandated restrictions affecting operations in Brazil Rio de Janeiro, shall suspend contractual obligations without penalty to either party.
• Any dispute arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in the city of Rio de Janeiro, under the rules of the Brazilian Arbitration Association (CAMARB), in the Portuguese language.

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and confirms acceptance of all terms, conditions, pricing, and scope of services described herein for the engagement of the Medical Researcher team in Brazil Rio de Janeiro. This document does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties.
