This Quotation Estimate has been prepared in accordance with the financial regulations of the Republic of Ghana and the procurement guidelines of the Ghana Health Service. All pricing is quoted in Ghanaian Cedis (GHS) unless otherwise stated, and reflects current market rates for specialised Medical Researcher services in Ghana Accra as of the date of issue.

The Medical Researcher engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties and responsibilities within the Ghana Accra metropolitan area and its surrounding districts:

• Design and implementation of a multi-site clinical research study on non-communicable disease prevalence in the Greater Accra Region, involving a minimum of 1,200 participants across four (4) district hospitals.
• Development of research protocols, informed consent forms, and data collection instruments compliant with the Ghana Health Research Ethics Committee (GREC) standards.
• Recruitment, training, and supervision of a field research team of no fewer than eight (8) data collectors and two (2) clinical coordinators based in Ghana Accra.
• Conduct of biostatistical analysis, peer-reviewed manuscript preparation, and presentation of findings at the annual Ghana Medical Association conference held in Accra.
• Monthly progress reporting to the Ghana Health Service Accra Regional Directorate and quarterly stakeholder briefings.
• Capacity-building workshops for junior health professionals at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and the University of Ghana Medical School in Accra.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in four (4) equal quarterly instalments, each amounting to GHS 521,237.50 (inclusive of VAT). The first instalment is due within fourteen (14) calendar days of the formal acceptance of this Quotation Estimate by the Ghana Health Service. Subsequent instalments are due on the 1st of January, April, and July respectively. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the Accra Health Sciences Research Institute account at the Ecobank Ghana, Accra Main Branch.

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing economic conditions in Ghana Accra.
• The Medical Researcher shall be bound by the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana and all applicable research ethics regulations enforced by the GREC in Accra.
• Any change in scope, duration, or deliverables must be documented in a written amendment to this Quotation Estimate, signed by both parties, before additional costs are incurred.
• The Medical Researcher shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of GHS 500,000 throughout the engagement period in Ghana Accra.
• Intellectual property arising from the research shall be jointly owned by the Ghana Health Service and the Accra Health Sciences Research Institute, as stipulated in the separate Memorandum of Understanding.
• Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Accra, Ghana, in accordance with the Mediation Act, 2010 (Act 724).
