The Medical Researcher will be based in Kenya Nairobi and will operate primarily from the KEMRI facility located in the Nairobi CBD, with fieldwork extending to the informal settlements of Kibera, Mathare, and Dandora.

Late payments shall attract a penalty of 1.5% per month as stipulated under Kenyan commercial law.

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Kenya Nairobi.
• The Medical Researcher shall comply with all data protection regulations under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, and shall ensure that all participant data collected in Kenya Nairobi is stored securely and anonymized.
• Any changes to the scope of work must be documented in a formal amendment to this Quotation Estimate and signed by both parties before implementation.
• The Medical Researcher shall submit monthly progress reports to the client and shall be available for quarterly review meetings held in Nairobi, Kenya.
• Intellectual property generated under this engagement shall be jointly owned by the client and East African Medical Research & Consulting Ltd., unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• This engagement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Nairobi, Kenya, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1995.
• The Medical Researcher shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of KES 10,000,000 throughout the duration of the project.

The overall project duration is twelve (12) months, commencing on 1 August 2025 and concluding on 31 July 2026.
